Who are you?

We are a family-run, independent Christian bookshop, in Newtownards, N. Ireland. See our About Us page.

Do you have other branches?

No. We operate from one location, Crimond House.

Do you sell wholesale?

No. We are a retailer. We also have a publishing imprint, Crimond House Publications, see www.crimondhouse.com. We do distribute these products through other retailers and wholesalers.

What are your opening hours?

Monday - Saturday 9:15 - 5.30
We are open on selected nights in the run up to Christmas. Details will be posted on our website beforehand.

Ordering

How can I order?

You may order via telephone, fax, post, or online.
 

Telephone		Our telephone number, above, puts you through directly to a member of our sales team who can take your order or answer any query.
Fax		You can fax an order form. If you do not have one, you may download one here. It is a PDF document and you will need Adobe Reader to open and print it.

Online		You may order via our secure online website.

How much postage do you charge?

Most items are post free in the U.K. (except overweight or oversized items). Overseas shipping options and prices are given upon checkout. See our Shipping page for details.

How long does it take to dispatch?

Dispatch is usually in a day or two, depending on availability. If an item will take longer than a few days to source, we will let you know. If you need your order by a specific date, please let us know.

Can I return an unwanted item?

Yes, you may return any item within 14 days for a full refund. See our Returns page for details.

Can you explain tax charges?

In the U.K. most goods are subject to a sales tax (called VAT) of 17.5%. This price is included in the quoted retail price. All customers within the European Union must pay this tax. Books are not subject to VAT. If you are ordering from outside the European Union, this tax will be deducted from your final invoices when we process your order.

Services

Do you offer a church bookstall facility?

Yes. We have many local churches who take out bookstalls for a church book table and for events, camps, etc. Our staff can help you in the selection process. The customer is responsible for the safety and security of the products while they are out, and for their timely return.

Miscellaneous

I have products to sell. What do I do?

If your product is handled by a publisher/distributor it may already have been presented to one of our buyers. Feel free to drop an email to the relevant buyer and tell us about it. If you are selling the product yourself please contact the buyer before sending out any samples. Please understand that our buyers receive telephone calls, emails and unsolicited samples on a weekly basis, and cannot give every request the attention you may feel it deserves.
